Create a lead

A lead is one attempt with a company that is not a customer yet, or a further attempt with a customer. A name is all a lead needs.

On iPhone and iPad

01Tap the grid icon at the bottom, then Leads. On the iPad, choose Leads in the sidebar.
02Tap Create lead.
03Enter the name under Company or name. If the company is already in miphu, suggestions appear below after two letters. Tap one, and the new lead becomes a further lead with that company.
04Add what you already know: contact details and address, and in the Lead section the fields Status, Assignee, Value and Source.
05Tap the checkmark at the top right.

01Choose Leads in the sidebar.
02Click Create lead or press ⌘N.
03Enter the name under Company or name. Suggestions of existing companies appear as on the iPhone.
04Add contact details, address, Status, Owner, Value and Source.
05Click Create.

Only Company or name is required. Fill in What is it about? only if the lead should have a different name from the company.
Create new company undoes a suggestion you picked.
If the company is on the do-not-contact list, miphu asks first. Create Anyway creates the lead regardless.

I cannot find Leads.: Leads appear only if your account has the right for them and the module is switched on for your company. Ask the owner or the administration.
miphu says the value is not a number.: Enter only a number under Value, without a currency sign and not negative.
