Export for your accountant: DATEV and CSV
miphu prepares the data your accountant needs. Full bookkeeping and payroll are not part of miphu.
On iPhone and iPad
- 01Open Finance > DATEV (businesses in Germany) or Finance > Bookkeeping.
- 02Under Period, choose the Type - Month or Quarter - and the period.
- 03Look at the Check. Sort out what it lists first.
- 04Tap Export and pass the file to your accountant. Earlier files are under Previous exports.
On the Mac
- 01Choose DATEV or Bookkeeping in the sidebar.
- 02Choose the period, read the Check and click Export.
Good to know
- The owner and accounts with the Finance right create the export. Only the owner changes the DATEV settings.
- The DATEV export covers whole months in euros within one fiscal year. What comes in later follows as a supplement.
- Expenses in an export can no longer be changed afterwards.
- Small businesses under § 19 UStG in Germany cannot use the DATEV export, because the booking batch contains tax keys; they use Bookkeeping.
Common problems
- Which export is mine?
- DATEV if your tax advisor in Germany works with it; otherwise the CSV under Bookkeeping.
- I do not see DATEV or Bookkeeping.
- The area needs the Finance right. Ask the owner.
