Record an incoming payment
miphu only knows an invoice is paid once you record the payment. From that it works out open and overdue amounts and the incoming payments in business insights.
On iPhone and iPad
- 01Open the invoice and tap Record payment.
- 02Enter the Amount, the date under Received on and a Reference if you like.
- 03Tap Post.
On the Mac
- 01Open the invoice and choose Record payment … in the ⋯ menu.
- 02Enter amount, date and reference, and confirm.
Good to know
- Record a partial payment the same way, with the amount received. The Payment balance shows the rest.
- An invoice is overdue when something is still open after its due date.
- miphu records what was received; it moves no money. miphu does not send reminders.
- The owner and accounts with the Finance right record payments.
Common problems
- I recorded a wrong amount.
- Open the invoice’s payments and choose Correct entry. miphu asks for a reason.
- The date is refused.
- A payment cannot be received in the future.
