Privacy and security: the basics
A short overview for owners. What binds is the privacy policy, the terms of use and the data processing agreement.
On iPhone and iPad
- 01Give every person an account of their own and only the rights they need: Settings > Team.
- 02Deactivate accounts at once when someone leaves the company.
- 03Check under Settings > AI Connections which AI apps are connected, and revoke what you no longer use.
- 04As the owner, you find the data processing agreement under Help & Contact.
On the Mac
- 01Accounts and rights: Settings (⌘,) > Team.
- 02Connected AI apps: Settings > Connections > AI Connections.
- 03Terms of use and data processing agreement: Settings > Account > Help & Contact.
Good to know
- miphu runs on servers in the European Union, under the GDPR. The backups stay in the EU too.
- Files are stored encrypted, with a key of their own for each company.
- We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. The apps contain no analytics, advertising or tracking services.
- Your sign-in is kept on the device in the keychain.
Common problems
- A device was lost.
- Change your password with Forgot password?. If it is an employee’s device, deactivate their account until it is sorted out.
- A customer asks what data we hold about them.
- The export of the company data contains everything miphu stores about this customer. Write to us if you need help with it.
