Delete your account or company
An employee deletes only their own account. When the owner deletes, the company closes - for everyone who works in it.
On iPhone and iPad
- 01As the owner, export the data first: Settings > Administration > Export data.
- 02Open Settings and tap Delete Account in the Account section.
- 03Read what happens to your access and to the company. As the owner, you type the company’s name.
- 04Enter your password and confirm.
On the Mac
- 01Export the data first: Settings > Company > Export Data…
- 02Open Settings with ⌘, and choose Account.
- 03Click Delete Account…, enter the company’s name as the owner and your password, and confirm.
Good to know
- We keep the data for 30 more days after deletion, and backups for at most 90 days after that. During that time, you can still sign in as the owner and export.
- Documents that the law requires you to keep are yours to keep. miphu tells you how many there are before closing.
- Apple does not end your subscription with it. Cancel it with Manage subscriptions with Apple.
- Handing the company over to another person is not possible in miphu yet.
Common problems
- I deleted by mistake.
- Write to us at hello@miphu.com within 30 days.
- I own several companies.
- That cannot be deleted in one step in the app. Write to us at hello@miphu.com, and we delete the account and the companies with you.
