Count and post a stocktake
A stocktake matches the stock in miphu with what is on the shelves. Only posting changes the stock.
On iPhone and iPad
- 01Open Goods > Stocktake and tap New stocktake.
- 02Choose the Scope, such as Entire warehouse, and Blind count if you want it.
- 03Tap Start counting, then Count. Enter the counted quantity for each line.
- 04Tap Submit for review.
- 05The owner or the administration taps Post, picks the Reference date and confirms.
On the Mac
- 01Choose Stocktake in the sidebar and create one with New stocktake.
- 02Click Start counting, then Count. In the counting window, ⌘↩ adds a quantity and ⌘0 counts a line as empty.
- 03Submit with Submit for review; posting is done with Post.
Good to know
- Only one stocktake runs per warehouse at a time.
- When posting, you can post uncounted lines as zero. Without that choice they stay unchanged.
- Anyone who may change stock can count. Only the owner and the administration can post.
- The list is available as PDF or CSV for counting on paper.
Common problems
- I cannot post.
- Only the owner and the administration can post. Submit the count and let them know.
- A quantity was counted wrong.
- Before posting, reopen it with Reopen counting or recount single lines with Recount.
