Create and issue an invoice
A draft may stay incomplete. Only when you issue does miphu need recipient, tax details and line items - and then it assigns the number.
On iPhone and iPad
- 01Open Finance > Invoices and tap New invoice. From an order or delivery note, tap Create invoice there.
- 02Choose Customer and currency and tap Create.
- 03Add Line items and, under Details, invoice date, service date and due date.
- 04Tap Issue invoice. If Before issuing still lists something, add it first.
- 05Tap Issue permanently, then Send by email …
On the Mac
- 01Choose Invoices in the sidebar and click Create invoice draft.
- 02Enter customer, lines and details in the document window.
- 03Click Issue invoice … in the ⋯ menu and confirm.
Good to know
- Issuing fixes address, lines and amounts. After that, changes go through a correction.
- For invoices, miphu needs your tax number or VAT ID and a number series - see company details.
- Sending by email opens your own mail app with the PDF. miphu sends nothing on its own.
- Whether an invoice goes out as a PDF or as an e-invoice, you choose under Details in Output format.
Common problems
- miphu says required details are missing.
- Before issuing lists what is missing. Add on customer… lets you fill in the customer’s details right away.
- I have one draft too many.
- Open it and choose Delete in the ⋯ menu. Issued invoices cannot be deleted.
